Benjamin Heflin, D.O.

Dr. Heflin, a cherished member of the Port Charlotte and Englewood communities, has deep roots in the area where he was born and raised. An alumnus of Port Charlotte High School, his journey into healthcare began in his hometown and continued to flourish as he pursued higher education.

His academic endeavor led him to the University of South Florida, where he delved into the complexities of life sciences, earning his B.S. in Biology. As his passion for medicine grew, he journeyed further into the field, attending the esteemed Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. There, he achieved his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree, equipping him with a holistic perspective towards patient care.

Dr. Heflin honed his skills and broadened his expertise during his Family Medicine residency at St. Petersburg General Hospital. His dedication to medical practice and devotion to community wellness were evident during this pivotal period in his career.

After years of education and training, Dr. Heflin made a heartfelt decision to return to his roots in Englewood. Committed to his community, he offers high-quality, individualized healthcare, bridging his professional knowledge with his innate understanding of his hometown's unique health needs.

Beyond the sphere of medicine, Dr. Heflin cherishes his time spent with family. He and his wife are proud parents to two young children, who fill their lives with joy and constant inspiration. As a dedicated professional and family man, Dr. Heflin embodies the spirit of community-centric healthcare, striving every day to improve the well-being of his beloved hometown.
Ashley Bellant, APRN, FNP-C

Ashley is a Nurse Practitioner, dual certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has extensive experience as a Registered Nurse with an emergency department background. She received her Associate’s Degree at State College of Florida, her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of South Tampa, and her Master’s Degree at Chamberlain University.
Gene DiBetta, D.O.
Accepting New Patients!
Dr. DiBetta earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and a graduate degree in biomedical sciences at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family practice residency at St. Petersburg General Hospital, where he served as the resident board member of the National American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He also received the ACOFP Young Osteopathic Family Physician of the Year.
Dr. DiBetta is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. He is also a member of and serves on the executive committees of the Florida Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society.
